A few years ago, one of our Siamese cats came down with a respiratory infection and the vet bills were outrageous. After a couple of times of going to the vet, I decided to look up pet insurance online. I found one highly rated on pet insurance review sites and signed our felines up for their Bronze plan with a $50 deductible and no co-insurance. With a modest annual fee for each cat, we had peace of mind that every single time we need to take them to the vet for illness or injury, our out of pocket cost was only going to be $50, no matter what. Recently we had our favorite Siamese mix kitty get sick. He had FELV at birth which we didn't know when we picked him up as a stray. They covered it all, down to the last penny when we fought for over a month to save him. This insurance plan covered almost $5,000 in vet hospital bills and we are really thankful for them, and even sent us a condolence card at the end of it all.
